Get a zero-time, factory-rebuilt Lycoming engine with a discount of up to $6,500. It's built to factory new limits and comes with a zero-time logbook and a two-year factory warranty. But best of all, a Lycoming rebuilt engine increases the value of your airplane. Only Lycoming can truly rebuild your engine. This offer requires the return of a new engine core. A new engine core is defined as a Lycoming factory new engine that has never been overhauled otherwise known in the industry as a first-run core. Certain restrictions apply. This discount cannot be combined with the Fleet Rebate program.

Engine Cores must also:
1. Have been built in previous twenty years.
2. Be returned with the complete engine logbook or if the customer prefers, a copy of the complete engine logbook and a completed Lycoming Factory Return Material Authorization (RMA) Worksheet (form number 2500). Total time since new must be documented in the logbook.
3. Arrive at the Lycoming Factory in an as removed, operable and airworthy condition with the valid engine data plate.
4. Be the same model and configuration as the purchased replacement engine, including all items and accessories that were supplied with the purchased replacement engine.
5. Arrive at the Lycoming factory or arrive at one of the two applicable international exchange core consolidation points within 120 days of the invoice date of the purchased replacement engine. 
 

Save up to $3,000 on a New, Rebuilt or Overhaul Engine

Until further notice, Lycoming Engines will be offering additional discounts for Engines with the return of what Lycoming defines as a "Select Exchange Core."

A "Select Exchange Core" is defined as a Lycoming Factory Rebuilt or Overhaul engine that has never been field overhauled, otherwise known in the industry as a "Factory Engine" core.

Select Exchange Engine Cores must also:
1. Have been built in previous twenty years.
2. Be returned with the complete engine logbook or if the customer prefers, a copy of the complete engine logbook and a completed Lycoming Factory Return Material Authorization (RMA) Worksheet (form number 2500). Total time since factory rebuilt or overhauled must be documented in the logbook.
3. Arrive at the Lycoming Factory in an as removed, fully assembled, operable and airworthy condition with the valid engine data plate.
4. Be the same model and configuration as the purchased replacement engine, including all items and accessories that were supplied with the purchased replacement engine.
5. Arrive at the Lycoming factory or arrive at one of the two applicable international exchange core consolidation points within 90 days of the invoice date of the purchased replacement engine for domestic customers and 120 days of the invoice date of the purchased replacement engine for international customers.
